Digital marketing strategy

A written plan that connects what you sell to where buyers actually look — with a budget split you can defend to a board, and a calendar your team can execute.

The problem

Most marketing plans fail for a boring reason: they were never a plan. They were a list of channels. Post on LinkedIn, run some ads, start a newsletter — and six months later there is activity but no attributable pipeline.

A real strategy answers three questions in writing. Who is the buyer and what triggers the search? Which two channels can we actually sustain? What has to be true in ninety days for this to be working?

What changes

  • A one-page strategy your whole team can repeat back
  • Budget split by channel, with the reasoning written down
  • A content calendar that ties each piece to a buying stage
  • Monthly review against agreed KPIs, not vanity metrics

What is included

Everything below is in the standard engagement. Nothing is held back for an upsell.

  • Market, competitor and audience research — including what your competitors are actually ranking for
  • Channel strategy with budget allocation and expected cost per lead by channel
  • Content calendar mapped to buying stages, not to posting frequency
  • Campaign planning across paid and organic, with landing page requirements
  • Monthly performance review and a written plan adjustment
  • One-time go-to-market projects for launches and new products

How it runs

The first ninety days

  1. ResearchBuyer interviews where possible, competitor teardown, keyword and channel sizing. I would rather find out the market is smaller than you thought now.
    Weeks 1–2
  2. StrategyA written document: positioning, two primary channels, budget split, ninety-day milestones, and the metrics that decide whether we continue.
    Week 3
  3. LaunchCampaigns and calendar go live, tracking verified before spend.
    Week 4
  4. ReviewMonthly: what moved, what did not, what changes next month.
    Ongoing

Who this is for

  • Companies with a product in market and some revenue
  • Teams that have tried channels tactically and cannot say what worked
  • Businesses preparing a launch or a new market

Who it is not for

  • Pre-revenue ideas — you need product validation first, not a funnel
  • Companies wanting someone to post on social media five days a week
  • Anyone who needs guaranteed lead volume in month one

Questions

Straight answers

We already have an agency. Can you just do strategy?
Yes. A common arrangement is a one-time strategy project (from $2,500) that your existing team executes. I will hand over the document and the calendar, and stay available for questions.
How long before we see anything?
Paid channels can move in two to four weeks. Organic and content compounds over three to six months. If a plan promises otherwise, it is not a plan.
Do you write the content too?
The strategy tier includes the calendar and briefs. Production is available as an add-on, or your team writes to the brief — which is often better, because they know the product.
